And then I grew up, and I got over it, because it was 10 years ago.
I say it not derisively, but observationally, that every high school theater kid goes through a "Rent" phase. Lord knows I had mine.
It's still in my Top Five Shows list, but it never can mean as much to you as your first brushes with it, more's the pity.
