I'm in the same boat, keeping a 3 AM to 10 AM sleep schedule currently (even on my 'employed' days as my current position rarely calls me in before noon).
Fortunately at least I don't need much sleep to go on; seven hours is optimal for me, I find, and I can hop right out of bed without complaint on four or five for a good stretch of days.
