Alright. So I'm back in Evanston (finally!) I got in on Tuesday. Yup, that's right, almost a week ago now. Unbelievable. Spent a long time just unpacking and getting stuff out of storage and seeing everyone. Its been really good to see Sam... not to mention everyone else as the crowd has trickled in. Josh arrived on Saturday, after his bed had been delivered. That night the whole reunited crew went out to see Underworld which hurt me in the best of ways. The action sequences were good, the visuals were beautiful, and the melodrama was so thick it was hysterically comical.
Anyway. My computer is immensely broken and may require a new hard drive. A call to Dell seems to be in order. Its only starting up succesfully about one time in six. I've burned something like seven CDs full of back-up data (documents and MP3s, mostly) 'cos it seems like this thing could go terminal at any moment. The other five out of six times it just freezes utterly sometime during the Windows XP start-up screen. Rob says he suspects the software is corrupted, and even if I don't need a new hard drive he says I'll need to reinstall. Don't know where my OS discs are, of course... no idea at all.
So if I'm hardly online, its because the repair job isn't going so well and I don't currently have the money for a new hard drive. More updates as events warrant. Its really, really good to be home.
