with style, style, style -- DONE
Jun. 10th, 2004 12:51 pmWell, I probably failed that exam. But who cares??? I PASSED THE CLASS, BABY!!!
(For the curious, following the abysmal exam, I received my paper, on which I had received an A grade with the comment that it was one of the most insightful papers in the class. Unless I bombed this exam way worse than I think I did, I still get a C for the quarter.)
And now, an interlude:
I found the following while browsing books in the Core. The bookstore, you see, did not have the book I needed and neither did the library. So I did some time-killing while my nerves kept me all jittery about the upcoming exam. The book was some journalist's collection of essays about blogging.
(to the tune of "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel)

We didn't start the weblogs
No, we didn't incite 'em

Bonus points for actually recognizing any of these. The song must have been written around 1999, the Primordial Ancient History of weblogs, and most of the A-listers who's names are here shamelessly dropped date that year or *gasp* earlier. The song is credited to Nikolai Nolan.
