Today I got in the shower and had only been inside for a matter of moments, long enough to get some shampoo in my hair, when there was a rattling noise from my pipes and my water suddenly got cooler. Then tepid. Then downright cold. A little playing with the taps led to the unsettling discovery that with the cold tap turned all the way off and the hot tap turned all the way on absolutely nothing was coming out of my showerhead or faucet. A little experimentation in my apartment led to the further revelation that this was true of every water dispenser in my apartment, and a quick IM to lassarina confirmed the problem was building-wide.

I rely on Evanston Neighborhood Properties (aka Forrest Properties, aka B&A Associates, aka Barry Realty) for very few things. Today they have shown me that it was wrong to expect even those would be dependable. Now I am cold and half-showered and pissed off and still sick.
