I admit it's quite cheaty. Mostly, I was curious to see who you were quoting, and once I got there, obliquely indicating that I'd actually been interested enough to do the groundwork seemed somehow necessary.
My, that almost sounds like a challenge. In fact, I have not. I have considered it, and as my mother would say, "I haven't not done it yet." But I also haven't gotten around to it.
How about if I go on record and say that I wouldn't have even bothered with Stroke 9's second album were it not for your wisdom in the musical arena. Fair enough? I'm not player-hating you, Liz... I assumed you would know the song, so much so that I figured mentioning it could be taken as some sort of insult.
I didn't even think it was particularly obscure. Faded out by now but still. That song was on the radio constantly when it first came out and played on Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Though I guess I really liked the song so maybe I'm just biased. I'll admit I'm curious where the random reference came from but I first just assumed you'd watched the movie recently.
Anger's the new fashion so sing another song about bashing someone's head in.
Your assumption is incorrect. Also I don't listen to the radio, so I had no way of knowing that. The song just showed up on a playlist iTunes made and therefore the reference is truly random.
