OK folks, here's the deal. I will be arriving at Chicago O'Hare this Friday evening, June 15th, at 8:00 PM. I will likely be heading straight to my sister Kate's place in Evanston to drop off my stuff and get situated. I will then be available to y'all Friday evening as well as daytime Saturday.

I don't leave Chicago until 7:30 PM on the evening of Monday, June 18th. So I can potentially meet someone for lunch on Monday (or, if any of y'all have flexible work schedules, anytime during the day on Monday or for an early dinner before my flight.)

I miss you all terribly, but I am also a goober. I am terrible at planning. I could blame the fact that I haven't e-mailed y'all specifically on being very busy lately, on my new and tiring temp assignment, on the fact that my allergies had a riot this weekend and now I have laryngitis... but I won't. The fact of the matter is I'm bad at maintaining friendships.

I'm sorry about that. But I also hope you'll forgive me in time for this weekend not to be a bust. OK?
