enthusiastickDoes anybody want to go see Old Springs Pike with me? They're playing at the Paradise Lounge on January 24th (that's a Thursday), opening for some band I've never heard of. I have a suspicion tickets will go fast and would rather buy them in advance, but I also don't especially want to go to a show by myself. I'd make that sacrifice to see Old Springs Pike, though, they seem keen. I'm a sucker for four-part harmony... and of course it doesn't hurt that one of their members is Johnny Gallagher (recently of Spring Awakening fame.)

sing_along_club is this Friday, January 11th! My vocals are in -- are yours? Get 'em in, people!
For those who missed it when I shilled forsing_along_club the first time, the idea is this: every month we pick a geek-rock song and sing our hearts out into some sort of digital recording.
