welcome to my world, its population one

enthusiastickToday was marathon cleaning today. From the moment I woke up until now when I am sitting down to write this LJ entry, I have spent roughly 3 hours not actively cleaning. 2 of them were spent watching a movie after I'd finished the common area and was moving on to bedroom and needed a break. The other was spent having dinner because I realized at about 9 PM that I was starving and ordered Leona's.
Its pretty darn liveable in here. Its far from perfect, and it will probably never be precisely clean. But some dusting, scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, two loads of dishes and a frankly staggering amount of straightening up and organizing later its hard to tell how bad the place looked last week. It looks about as good as it usually does before a party here, only I know its cleaner than that because I unearthed some things that hadn't seen the light of day in a year or two and ran a wet sponge over them.
Now I'm going to take a shower and hope my parents and sisters don't tell me the place is filthy when I see them tomorrow.
