I know, I know, I've become a bad updater the past few days. I just haven't felt like there's much to report on. I try and keep quiet about it, but the whole job hunt endeavor depresses me more than I can say. I finally started to see some responses today, although they were responses to by far the most sketchy and worrisome openings I sent resumes to. Still, it can't hurt to do a couple of interviews, right? Its like practicing.

Played a bunch of Mordheim with [livejournal.com profile] pax_malificus and [livejournal.com profile] inediblebuddha yesterday. It was really brutal on my warband, but still a good time. We ended with a threeway monster hunt where we raided the lair of a dragon. I charged in like the foolhardy and single-minded tactician I am and thus spent a couple rounds receiving the brunt of the dragon's attentions. But I kept in it for a surprisingly long time and walked away with some decent XP, which is cool.

Tonight was the first game of [livejournal.com profile] lassarina's Demon game. It went well, if somewhat schizophrenic, insofar as there were four players and a lot of cross talk. In the past year my tolerance for cross talk has plummeted (I'm spoiled, I know.) But the game really was interesting - [livejournal.com profile] lassarina is definitely starting to mature as a Storyteller and develop her own style.

[livejournal.com profile] timeshaper's girlfriend secured tickets to Spiderman 2 tomorrow night. Mad props. Every advance review I have read said its really, really good. I'm super psyched.

So I'm thinking about making this journal more interactive-like, in the manner of my livejournal heroes. If I started polling people and posting more memes which required response from you, my limited group of readers, would you be up for it? Let me know... I have a few ideas forming in my head for questions that I would really like to ask, and think I might even be able to develop a style that is not wholly like that of say [livejournal.com profile] rollick who I am otherwise not above shamelessly imitating. What say you?

I miss [livejournal.com profile] spreadnparanoia. But she's almost home!

oooh, yay! Yeah, the crosstalk started to get to me a bit toward the end of the night, but I figured I'd make allowances for first game, and now that I'm somewhat in the Demon groove I can get more hands on in most ways.

As you know, I am a very interactive LJ person, so wahoo for interactivity.

I could go for interactive posts, as long as they don't, y'know, suck.

I'm more than willing to see more nifty LJ interactiveness.

I think posts that are somewhat interactive are good.. But I don't really like heavy polling with very simple questions... More sort of the post something evoking, get the evoked responses kinda polling.
