one short day in the Emerald City
Jun. 30th, 2005 01:53 pmAlright, I've been trying really hard not to get ahead of myself, or get my hopes up about this... but the time has come to share with the world.
Its confirmed: a week from today I've got yet another interview with Liberty Mutual. What makes this interview special? Its in Chicago. For a position in Chicago. I didn't even beg them for it or anything, they just sort of volunteered that maybe I'd like to work there. Talk about your dreams come true.
A longer update is in the works, one that contains a number of humorous anecdotes and recent trials and tribulations. (In order to book the plane ticket for this interview, for example, I had to buy a new keyboard because mine spontaneously quit on me.) And before anyone in Chicagoland gets too excited, I'll only be in town for the day. I fly in around 10 in the morning and out around 7 in the evening. But I don't honestly expect to spend the whole damn day interviewing, so maybe I can have dinner with someone?
