I'm fairly certain I mentioned this in an earlier post, but that was a while ago, and the time has come for a heads up: I'm coming out to Chicago.
"Well," you might be thinking to yourself, "no duh. He keeps claiming that he's moving back out here, but when am I actually going to see him?" To which I can now happily reply: how does two weeks sound?
No, I'm not moving to Chicago in two weeks. But I am visiting. I have a business conference in St. Charles IL from October 12th through the 14th. Some of you might correctly point out that St. Charles is not, in point of fact, Chicago. Its pretty far from Chicago, actually. I'm aware of that. But sometime that Friday afternoon I'm going to be cut loose. I've arranged for my return flight to depart from O'Hare at around 6:30 PM on Sunday the 16th. That leaves me the weekend.
I think I'm going to stay with my sister in Evanston, since she has already generously extended an offer and is fairly centrally located. (Although if any of you all would rather offer me a place to crash, I am unlikely to turn you down. My sister is wonderful, but we might cramp one another's respective styles.) Chances are if you are located in greater Chicago and are reading this right now, I'd like to see you while I'm in town. So mark your calendars. What's even going on that weekend? Anything good?
Speaking of the future... in just 3 short days I can finally see Serenity! Less than that if I catch a midnight screening, which I might do, with
sleetfall. It looks so good! I get all squirmy and excited when I think about it. Like a puppy. Or, y'know, a mentally challenged adult human being. EEEEE!

Date: 2005-09-28 09:43 pm (UTC)Honestly, I'm flattered that you're even considering me in your plan-making. If you're out of town for the weekend, no worries, but in that case let's do try and hang out on Friday. 'K?

Date: 2005-09-30 12:29 am (UTC)I've got a DCP schedule right here, and it looks like that weekend is indeed free. And I've talked with Cass, and we both want that weekend at home more than we want it Away. So yeah, don't book up your Saturday. I'll be sending out a Witch Hunt invite probly this weekend.

Date: 2005-09-28 11:44 pm (UTC)I have the impression that is either the weekend for Tremere Prom or a non-DCP-related weekend, so that'll be shiny.
*love and hugs*
So looking forward to seeing you!
