I have never seen it but the fanatics bug the shit out of me. At least the one I know.

I chose the enthusiastic answer, though in the spirit of absolute precision, I should admit that I found it very moving when I was watching it, and I bought the soundtrack, and I still like the songs, but at the same time I can see it's got a ton of weaknesses and is pretty cheaply manipulative. I don't think it's Art or anything, but I enjoy listening to it, and I'm looking forward to the movie.

I've gone through phases of Rent.

Was a total fan at first, but got jaded at how overplayed it was. Left it alone for a while... Now every once in a while I listen and remember why I liked it in the first place. :) As long as it's not being thrown at me, I love it. And I'm looking forward to the movie.

(chose "I liked it well enough, but the fanatics are damn irritating", cause that seemed closest to my thoughts)

The English language does not contain a word to describe partially, let alone fully encompass my feelings about rent. I would like to propose the following compound word, used here in a pragraph: "Rent is worthless Cumshitrimjobfelchshitqueefturdanusanusanusanusfuckretardshitdumbcuntwhoreshitsyphilisshitbagdouchewasteassshit and represents the low point in music since time began. The musical stylings of the anthropomorphized vaginal farts (see: queef) of a 90 year old transgendered assholes-only a capella group covering J. Lo hold more musical appeal to me. Every time I hear even a few seconds of a rent song I pray to God, the Devil, Mohhamed, the divine spirit of David Koresh and every god in every archaic pantheon I can think of that someone will shove their pus-covered, herpes infested dick into my eye socket and urinate acidic blood into my brain, killing me slowly and horribly, rather than allowing me to hear it ever again. The human race is lessened by the existence of Rent, and if only it would be stricken from the face of history and the collective consciousness of theater assholes everywhere I would gladly widdle my own nuts into a bow with a carrot peeler and dip then in iodine in front of a chorus of my ex-girlfriends fucking every guy I ever hated in highschool AND LIKING IT.

Now where's my damned option on that poll?
