This line of thought was inspired by beah, who's journal I found myself reading at random for the first time in at least a month.

If you call me Pooka you're lassarina, or I met you in Germany. Or, as a distant possibility, you're a friend of mine from college trying to get into my good graces.

EDIT: If you call me Pinky you're a friend of mine from college who probably picked it up from thablueguy. (Thanks for pointing that one out, oberndorf.)

If you call me Skeezer then you're one of a small group of friends from high school, who were mostly juniors and seniors when I was a freshman.

If you call me Evan you're a passing acquaintance who I have not bothered to correct, because I honestly don't care anymore.

If you call me Eben (pronounced EE-ben) then you've never met me in person and are probably reading my name from a list.

If you call me Eb-eb, Eb-Bob or Eben-eezah you're one of my sisters, probably Allison.

If you call me Ebby-Webbers then you're my sister Sarah and you're making fun of me.

EDIT: If you call me Ebby-Webbums then you're thablueguy and you're making fun of me.

If you call me Ebber than you're my Uncle Cam, who knows what its like to have an akward first name (Egbert!)

If you call me Eben (pronounced EH-ben) then you're most anyone else I know.
